Hi, I'm MJ
I am the multimedia reporter at KWBU, Waco's Public Radio Station. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2024 with a Bachelor's in Journalism.
While there I served as the Audio Editor for UT's student paper, The Daily Texan, and worked with The Drag Audio. I also interned for The Texas Standard, where my feature on a San Antonio nonprofit earned a statewide award for health reporting (and becoming the first intern to do so).
When not scoping out stories, I enjoy reading a good book, hiking or learning new crafts.
